10 Things to know about MP's new guitarist - Phil

1.What is your name and age?
My name is Phil and i am 20 years old (25/02/2006)

2.Curently are you working or studying?
Im studying at ABAC University doing Music Business and i am also teaching piano part - time.

3. What instruments do u play?
Started to learn the piano at a young age and then gradually picked up the guitar later on.

4. What bands do you like?
Amongst my favourite bands are Coheed and Cambria, Hopesfall, At The Drive In, AFI and Thursday.

5. What guitar do you normally use for live shows and recording?
Normally i use a PRS (Paul Reed Smith) for both live and recording together with a PEAVEY 5150 stack. Amazing distortion..!!!!!

6. Any previous work with any other bands?
Yes. Full album with a band called Crux

7. Who is your favourite guitarist?
Mike Eizinger / Incubus.

8. What are your favourite Thai bands?
They are underground bands called "From the Makers of Casablanca" and "Brand New Sunset".

9. What is your favourite colour?
Blue

10. And finally, who do you look to as an idol?
Nat King Cole because of his great voice and amazing piano playing.

New Website! New Songs! New Sound!
“I find it difficult to explain our music and what we are doing. I guess you have to hear it for yourself. We are really putting our feelings, emotions and passion into the music. Alot of people still doubt our music and try and make us more commercial but honestly, we dont give a shit. Everyone should have something to stand for. We standby our music. We are the songs and the songs are us. You can try to be alot of things but you can never escape yourself. We are trying to be true to ourselves as much as possible and get the best out of who we are the sounds we create. This is what we stand for and it is really cool that everyone has supported us along the way.”

Welcome.....
Monky Pants are back..! Currently working on their next full album in Thailand. Also there are 2 new members of the band making MP now a 4 piece. A single called DEEPER has also been released on a compilation CD called SUAN SANARM.
